B. Rae Contracting Ltd, was established in 1990 by Bill Rae. Having worked on farms from a young age and then for an agricultural contracting family that ceased trading he seized an opportunity to start up on his own.
From 1990 starting out with just one tractor and a hedge cutter, he has worked extremely hard to progress and develop our business into what it is today.
The business became a family enterprise when Bill’s wife Hazel and son Kevin joined as the workload increased.
With continued growth and on going development we have now built up a team of hard working, experienced staff, a wide range of modern machinery and a wide ranging customer base stretching from the midlands of England to the north of Scotland providing services to the farming, forestry and utilities industries.
Our company was built on the ethos of providing a one stop shop for all outsourced agricultural services required by the livestock and arable farmer, and by providing these services in as safe, efficient and cost effective manner as possible.
This approach was also carried over as our business grew into the forestry and utilities industries.
We strive to continue to move with the times and grow our business by building on our strong reputation, listening to our customers, continued training and development of our staff, and looking for new opportunities and ventures.
